Partnerships
The Young Leadership Program was conceived by Mr. Walter Jenkins, an American businessman who is also the princinciple funder of the program through his donations to the Zorig Foundation US. The Zorig Foundation US was providing operating funds for the program . Additionally, in 2004, Mr. Nigishi Kenichi, President of the Asia Culture Forum, Japan made a contribution, which enabled the Foundation to improve the equipment and facilities available for YLP instructional sessions. The Zorig Foundation Mongolia furnishes meeting facilities and other logistical support as required. Khan Bank is supporting YLP since 2006 and this academic year 2011-2012, Khan Bank is providing all necessary funding for this program.
Throughout the program, approximately 35 instructional sessions are conducted for the participants. Many of the sessions are supported by leading businesses, organizations and experienced professionals from the local community as well as foreign subject matter experts. Generous support is provided from such organizations as Boroo Gold LLC, the Arts Council of Mongolia, Open Society Forum, Mongolian National Broadcaster, Khan Bank, Water and Pipping company, NewCom Group and Oyu-Tolgoi LLC.
