Khan Bank Foundation supports Young Leader Program of Zorig Foundation again

The Young Leader Program of Zorig Foundation is becoming popular among youth. Over 20 young people, aged 22-25 are selected each year to participate in 8-month program that is designed to improve communication and analytical skills, critical thinking, project development and implementation skills as well as to foster teamwork spirit. Alumni of this program have already reached 140 and they are employed by various social and economic sectors and holding managerial positions. The Khan Bank Foundation, for its fifth consecutive year, decided to sponsor this program. It has contributed to the cultivation of future leaders of Mongolia for the academic year of 2011-2012 and the cooperating parties signed the sponsorship agreement.
The Young Leadership Program involves both on-site visits and classroom discussions that allow the participants to gain insights on social, business and political issues on both local and international level. Most of the sessions are facilitated by experts and professionals from leading domestic and international business entities and agencies. One component of the program is to implement a socially oriented project where the participants are divided into teams to develop and implement the project. At the end of the program, the participants present their projects and their results.
The Young Leader Program for 2012-2013 academic year will be receiving application forms starting in middle of August. Applicants must be aged between 22-25.
