The Young Leader Program of Zorig Foundation is becoming popular among youth. Over 20 young people, aged 22-25 are selected each year to participate in eight-month program that is designed to improve communication and analytical skills, critical thinking, project development and implementation skills as well as to foster teamwork spirit.

About half of the sessions are introductory tour visits of organizations and the other half are conducted as lectures, discussion and debate. We have visited and toured the following organizations within this program year: Boroo Gold LLC, Open Society Forum, Eznis Airways, Mongolian National Broadcaster, Opera Academic Theatre, Khan Bank, Water and Piping Company, Mongolian Star Melchers Co.Ltd, Asian Art Co.Ltd, Amnesty International, Arts Council of Mongolia. The leading experts have provided us interesting lectures and discussions on different topics. The following well known leaders and experts have shared with us their insights and thoughts.

Community Development Projects by YLP VIII Each year the YLP class is divided into three teams which compete to create and implement community development projects. These projects enable the participants to practice the leadership skills that they have learned and address some of the community issues that they have discovered through the program sessions. There are no losers in the competition as each team receives a prize for their efforts.
